Facebook randoms

I end up posting a bunch of pictures with little kid stories on Facebook.  It's just easier than posting them here.  So if you are Facebook friends with me, you've seen these.  If not... well, get on Facebook so I don't have to post these twice...

This girl doesn't go anywhere lately without her accoutrements.

"Don't do this to me! Please, oh pleeeease don't do this to me!" Luke says.

You'd think I was getting ready to string him up on false accusations of horse thievery... not putting him to bed.

Breakfast at the Farmhouse, our favorite breakfast place.  We also just took all the grandparents their for Christmas, and both times Luke ate a cinnamon roll as big as his head, plus a side of bacon and eggs.  There is a reason he has the nickname Hank the Tank.

Cool sunset over our neighborhood.

This, about 2 minutes after his brother asked "Dad, do bike tires ever wear out?"  There was a whole series of 10 foot skid marks all the way around the block after that bike ride.

Avast ye scurvy dogs!  On their way to some pirate play with Grandma.

I came home to Sophie wearing this new Halloween costume, and some explanation about her outfit matching her demeanor. Needless to say, she had an early bedtime that night.

His sister dressed him up.  I'm not sure exactly what he was supposed to be, but he was sure it was "vewy fwightening."

Destined for greatness, this one is...

With his crime fighting partner.

Photos of the elusive desert bull in his natural habitat.

We have a little backyard firepit, and their favorite activity is to put sticks in and get them smoking.  Luke apparently decided to take up the habit early.

Burglars (and neighborhood cats) beware. We've got a pantsless sword wielding fairy winged ninja monster protecting the homestead!

This looked super safe.  So I paused to take a picture.

Thinking about the consequences of smacking her brother in the head with a shoe.
