Big 'ol pile of formula!

We plan on traveling light when we fly to Ethiopia for court!  :)

Thanks to the very generous donations, big and small, we have lots of formula headed with us to Ethiopian orphanages.

When we asked for donations a month or so back, I never thought we would be given what we were.  And the sources were the most surprising.  I was blown away at the gifts from people I haven't seen or spoken too in over 15 years, and friends of theirs whom I have never met.  There were also some awesome relatives. (You can always count on family.)

One group of donors really went all out for the cause and we are so thankful.  My sister Lindsey had her middle school students, in Allendale, MI donate change for formula.  I believe the different classes were challenging one another to see who could raise the most.  The totals started to roll in looking a little like this:

Day 1- $5.04
Day 2- $15.00
Day 3- $39.03

And from there it just snowballed!  Last Friday, Nov.12, the collection ended, and the students had donated $546.36!  We are amazed and so great-full for the generous donations of the Allendale Public School middle school kids.
