Speaking of government cheese

I feel dirty even having these in my house...


Someone got one of the digital converters for the TV at work. It turned what was an unwatchable, snowy, ancient TV into a tiny 16" portal into another reality (daytime soaps and Oprah.) Of course, we still have bunny ears at home, and occasionally have to get up to adjust them when we change channels. For an engineer, I think I am unusually anti-technology.

Now that they are here... I feel like I need to wear a disguise or something when I use them.

Paige says we are Dutch, and she will take $40 off of anything, even if it does come from the government.

Our forefathers in the old country are rolling over in their graves...
