He's officially one

We had Luke's birthday party at my mom's today. The first item on the agenda was to take the older three to see Earth in the movie theater. We have the DVD's, which they love, and we thought they would really like to see it on the big screen. After a huge fight to get the boys to each eat one (one!) McDonald's chicken nugget (which they usually inhale) we headed to the theater.

Let's just say that was the longest 90 minute movie Paige ever saw. The kids did not want to sit still. Apparently there were not enough nuggets in their stomach to dilute the entire glass of Sprite that they each did drink. She chased them all over that theater the entire time. So if you were in the 1:00 showing of Earth at Bell and 32nd, we apologize.

When we asked the kids if they liked the movie, Noah replied "No, I did not enjoy it." Yeah, he won't be seeing a movie in the theater again until he is about 16.

Then back to Grandma's, out for dinner at Valle Luna, and then Luke got to dig into his cake. Paige has made each of our kids their first birthday cake. Luke got a caterpillar.

And he got one whole bug segment to himself...

Then a quick bath in the sink...

And a few presents...

Happy Birthday "Sweet Baby Wuke!!" (as the other three call him.)
