This is a little hard for me to believe...

How on earth did the last 4 years go by that quickly?

From this...

To this...

(bonus points for anyone who can correctly identify Levi and Noah in each pic.)

-------------------------------

Paige heard about Disneyland offering free admission on your birthday. Having never been to Disneyland, she was immediately scheming a way to get out there. When she told me her plan, I think my response went something like "Disneyland + holiday weekend + 100,000 other sweaty exhausted tourists = me not getting anywhere near the place." Luckily her mom was coming out anyways to help drive back to Michigan for the summer, so she got suckered into going.

Then the whole kidney stone thing occurred. I think Paige was more worried about missing Disneyland than passing the stone. At one point, when the mere possibility of canceling the trip was brought up, her response was that she was taking Levi and Noah there, even if she was puking over the side of her wheelchair. I married a stubborn one! ;)

So they are all at Disney today, having a great time. The boys like Tom Sawyer's Island the best so far, because it truly is the best part of Disneyland, especially for little boys.

Happy Birthday Levi and Noah!

-------------------------------

No Levi and Noah post would be complete without some of the funny things they say.

A few nights ago, I discovered Levi sitting on the bathroom counter, sink full to the rim, dropping various objects into the water. After watching him quietly for a minute, I said:

"What'cha doin' buddy?"

Levi, after nearly jumping out of his skin: "Welllllllll, I'm just 'spear-a-mint-in to see which things can swim. I mean... float!"

I was chuckling too much to really be mad at him for covering the bathroom in water during his 'spear-a-mint-in.

-------------------------------

The night before leaving for Disney, Noah did not want to go to bed. He sat at the bottom of the stairs pitching a fit. As he was finally climbing the stairs, wailing about the injustice of having to go actually rest, Paige said:

"If you don't get in bed, you will be too tired tomorrow, and I will have to go to Disney with just Grandma!"

Noah replied: "That's ridiculous mom. That's ridiculous"

He did have a point. Like Paige was really going to leave him behind for Disney, no matter what he did... :)

-------------------------------

While wandering around Tom Sawyer's Island today, Noah found everything "mysterious."

"There something mysterious about this cave mom!"

"That is very mysterious Grandma!"

Funny little duffers...
