Really?

Paige saved this one for me from one of her magazines, because she knew I would immediately want to purchase it for our kids...

Not...

Wind turbine? Solar cells? Since I don't see "nuclear power plant" as one of the included features, it sounds like those dolls will be spending a lot of time without a steady power supply.

And then I saw this one in our local Gilbert paper...

Sooooo, the primary concern of the founding fathers was how to equally disburse the funds for various programs throughout the nation? You mean like social security, welfare, education funding, the original stimulus package of 1800. Probably had a cash for clunkers program too to encourage people to purchase that new breed of fuel efficient horses.

Oh wait... none of those existed. Hmmmm....

Article One, Section Two, Clause Three of the US Constitution (not that anyone pays attenetion to what it says anymore): "Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons..."

"Representatives and direct taxes." Yup, sounds like a synonym for "programs" to me!

Check out the kid's menu at Chilis some time. We saw it with our friend's son last night - it's full of "green" games like "find the gas guzzling cars", "circle the clean sources of energy and 'X' out the polluters", etc. I think "they've" given up trying to change rational adult behavior and are trying to brainwash our kids. I won't be eating at Chili's with our son, or he'll be ordering of his dad's menu.

$240!!!!!????? Give me a break! The only thing green about that thing is the cash you'd have to shell out! I'll be happy to make a "nuclear dollhouse" for Ella for $120 ;).
